Now that Autumn is here, my humans and I have been enjoying the sunlight. It’s always softer and more angled this time of year, which means that you get some interesting shadows and play of light.

Seeing this sunlight streaming in a window, one of the gaiwans in my Tea Gang decided to infuse some Silver Needle white tea. We called the Glass Chahai into service here, too, so not a single atom of light would get missed shining through that tea. And insulated glass sipping cups were doing their part to make sure that tea shone!

The tea was as good as we remembered it. The sample that the vendor sent us was still as fresh as when it had arrived – proof that proper storage can really extend the shelf life of your teas. And the flavor was that same lovely mild and slightly nutty/sweet kind that we experienced before.

My humans had to have a little treat with the tea and so out came that package of cookies they bought recently on their trip to the big city of Tulsa. The cookies are vanilla wafers with a little raspberry jam on top and a coating of dark chocolate over both. (My humans just gotta have their chocolate – TOOOT!)

Take advantage of that Fall sunshine to get a good look at your tea!
